Lens Guide

We believe that quality eyewear begins with the lens.

Lens Index refers to the thickness of the lens. As a general guide, if your degree is high, the higher the lens index, the better choice.

We recommend the following lens indexes:

1.56 : up to ±3.00 DS

1.6 : up to ±4.00 DS

1.67: up to -6.00 DS

1.74: >-6.00 DS

*If your astigmatism is >-2.00 DC, you may require custom order lenses, please contact us at piccolosees@gmail.com for a quotation.

We work with both international and local suppliers to offer greater value to our customers. So, what's the difference amongst the various lens brands?

Essilor Crizal Blue UV Capture and Carl Zeiss Clearview provide aspherical lenses with premium multicoating. They are flatter, thinner, have less distortions, wider field of vision, and are more transparent in nature.

The Basic Multicoated with UV selection is spherical lens. It is wallet friendly, and is generally more reflective in nature.
